Las Cruces, New Mexico is a vibrant and scenic city that offers visitors endless possibilities for exploration and adventure. THE HOSTS

Albert Soliz - was born and raised in South Texas and currently resides in San Antonio. For over 25 years, he served as Assistant Director, Associate Producer and Show Host with The Crystal Group, former producers of the Miss Texas USA and Miss Texas Teen USA pageants. He has traveled the country and judged many Miss USA state preliminary pageants. He is a Model and Actor and some of his credits include local, regional and national campaigns for companies such as Sea World San Antonio, H-E-B®, AT&T, Miller Brewing Company and Advance Auto Parts. He is a Certified Tourism Ambassador and longtime Volunteer with the Valero Alamo Bowl college football game.

Amanda Guillen is an award-winning communication specialist with over a decade of experience in the field.

She is currently a marketing coordinator with El Paso Children’s Hospital.

As part of her job she highlights the stories of the hospital through the eyes of the patients, physicians, parents and staff.

She also works to ensure the hospital remains a visible presence in the Borderland through social media and through fostering community partnerships.

Prior to working with El Paso Children’s Hospital, Amanda worked in the news industry.Her last role in news was as morning news anchor and producer for KDBC in El Paso, Texas. 

Amanda is a lifelong El Pasoan and a proud graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso.Her most important roles are as a wife to her college sweetheart, Luis and a mother to her son, Max.
